While completing my undergraduate degree in interpersonal communications and public speaking, I developed a desire to help others communicate effectively and experience freedom in relationships.  This desire lead me to pursue a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary.  My Master's degree has prepared me to integrate psychology and theology into the safety of the therapeutic relationship.

I have been in private practice for over 10 years working with individuals and families navigating a variety of life challenges including depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss, as well as processing past trauma and abuse. My goal is to help my clients gain freedom and wholeness through a relationship that is unconditionally accepting, forgiving, safe, patient and trustworthy.

I am a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) in Kansas. I am a Level I trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist and a Level II trained EMDR therapist.

I currently live in the Kansas City area with my British husband and our two wonderfully active boys.
